The cable tie mounting block gives a cable a fixed point on an aluminum profile. The block seats in the profile T-slot and a standard cable tie holds the cable against the extrusion, so a run of cable can be tied down wherever the machine needs it – along a machine frame, up a guarding panel, or inside a control-cabinet structure. Nothing is drilled, nothing is glued, and the profile face stays unmarked. When the layout changes, the tie is cut, the block slides to the next position and the cable is tied again.

How to install the cable tie mounting block ?
1. Cut the extrusion to length and clear the T-slot of chips, burrs and cutting fluid. The slot needs no re-machining, because the block seats by hand.
2. Pick the colour you need: 2715.008.001 for black, 2715.008.002 for white.
3. Place the block on the profile so its base enters the slot channel and the body sits against the profile face, positioned as shown on the drawing.
4. Run the cable along the profile at the height and on the side you need.
5. Pass a cable tie around the cable and through the opening in the block, close the tie, pull it snug against the cable bundle, and trim the tail flush so nothing protrudes.
6. Repeat at whatever spacing the run needs. To move a fixing later, cut the tie, slide the block along the slot and tie again. The extrusion is not damaged and the block is reusable.
