Nylon Base Swivel Leveling Feet, Stud Leveling Foot, Machine Leveling Feet, Stainless Steel Nylon Feet, Adjustable Feet Round Base China Factory Manufacturer

Steel feet mark floors. That is the plain reason nylon base swivel leveling feet range exist. We fit a black nylon base to the same stainless steel SS304 stud we use across our leveling feet family, so the only part that touches your floor is nylon. Put it under a laboratory bench, a display stand or a light machine and the surface stays as it was.

Nylon takes the floor contact, not steel. The black base is nylon, so the metal never touches your floor. No scratches on tiles, vinyl or epoxy, and no rust ring if the floor gets wet.

A softer base sits better. Nylon gives a little under load, so it takes up small bumps in the floor and cuts the noise a frame makes when it shifts.

Short studs for low frames. 30 mm and 50 mm sit under a low base plate where a 100 mm stud would stand out of the frame.

Sizes from small to large. Bases D30, D40, D50, D80, D100 and D120, threads from M8 to M16, and studs of 30, 50 and 100 mm.

SS304 stud, plain finish. No plating to chip off the thread, and it survives a wipe down.

What the nylon base gives you
Nylon takes the floor contact, so the steel never touches the surface.
Nylon gives a little under load, so it takes up small bumps and quietens a frame when it shifts.
No rust ring on a wet floor, and no coating that can chip off.

Which size fits what
D30 and D40 for light equipment: instruments, shelving, display stands and cabinets.
D50 for light machines and trolleys.
D80 and D100 for larger frames that still need a nylon contact with the floor.
D120 for the largest frames in this range.
Stud length follows the frame: 30 mm and 50 mm for a low base plate, and 100 mm where the frame stands higher.

How It Installs:
1. Measure the gap at each foot position. Note the highest and the lowest point, because that range decides how much stud you need.

2. Choose the base and the stud. Use the size guide above, then confirm the thread against the frame drawing.

3. Prepare the fitting. Tap the frame, drill a through hole for the two-nut method, or fit a profile threaded base plate on a T-slot frame.

4. Thread the stud in by hand first. Start it straight, and if it tightens early, back it out and begin again.

5. Set the height and keep the frame loaded. Turn each foot a little at a time so every base carries its share, and check with a spirit level in both directions.

6. Lock the nut against the frame. A nylon base does not grip the nut, so the lock nut does the work here. Tighten it properly.

7. Lift the frame when you move it, never drag it. Dragging wears a flat spot on the nylon base, and a worn base makes the frame rock.

8. Check the bases at each service. Keep oil, solvent and strong cleaners off the nylon, replace a base that has gone hard or flat, and re-check the lock nuts after the first shift.

Applications:
Laboratory equipment, medical equipment, display stands, shelving units, electronic enclosures, vending machines, furniture frames and light machines.

FAQ
Does the base swivel?
Yes.The base moves on the stud, so it sits flat on a floor that slopes.

What is the shortest stud for?
Low frames. 4015.040.003 uses a 30 mm stud, the shortest stud in this range.

How much load does one foot carry?
Four things decide it: the base diameter, the thread, the stud length and the fixing. Give us the frame load with the number of feet and we will confirm the rated load.

Can you make another base or stud length?
Yes. Send the size you need and our engineers will quote it.
